There are so many beach clubs in Bali that working out which are the best beach clubs could be a lifetime’s work.
The good news is that you don’t have to visit all the beach clubs in Bali to find a place for your sunset sessions, we’ve been to every beachfront venue on the island and compiled this list of Bali’s best beach clubs for you.
So, here’s our pick of the top 30 best beach clubs here in this paradise island for you to enjoy.
Our 30 Best Beach Clubs In Bali
FINNS Beach Club (and FINNS VIP Beach Club)
FINNS is considered to be the world’s best beach club by many and if we could only recommend one beach club in Bali, it would be FINNS.
From their amazing party restaurants like St. Tropez and Monsoon to their super comfy day bed options by their multiple pools, this incredible beach club in South Bali always makes us glad that we visited.
It has amazing sunset views and the local and international DJs at FINNS always ensure that you have an amazing time. The only sad moment at this club is when you finally have to leave the dance floor and go home at the end of the night.
Address: Jl. Pantai Berawa No.99, Canggu, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia
Online: FINNS
Potato Head Beach Club
Potato Head is part of the Desa Creative Village and there’s no doubt that this old hand of the Bali beach club scene has a lot to offer.
We like taking up space on their day beds and deck chairs when we’re nursing a hangover and just want to chill for the day. It’s almost the polar opposite of our top pick.
Address: Potato Head Beach Club/Desa Potato Head, Petitenget St No.51B, Seminyak, Kuta Utara, Badung Regency, Bali 80361, Indonesia
Online: Potato Head
Klive Beach Club
Klive is a relative newcomer to Bali’s beach club scene but this clifftop day club is certainly worth checking out if you’re in the Ungasan area.
You’ll find that it’s spread over 7 stages on the cliff face and each of them gives a nice view of the beach access below and the ocean.
Address: Jalan Villa Kandara Banjar Wijaya Kusuma, Ungasan, Uluwatu, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80362, Indonesia
Online: Klive
Oneeighty
It’s a shame that the glass bottom of the infinity pool at Oneeighty wasn’t a bit more polished as the views from the base of this pool could be amazing.
We’d also prefer that they dropped their entrance fee but we loved being brought into this club by golf buggy and we enjoyed the drinks at golden hour very much, indeed.
Address: Banjar Dinas Kangin Jl. Pura, Uluwatu, Jl. Goa Lempeh, Pecatu, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361,
Online: Oneeighty
Single Fin Bali
This cliffside club is one of Bali’s most popular spots for surfers and you will find that it gets absolutely packed out around sunset – so make sure to get there early (it’s worth it for the views of the surfers having fun on the beach below).
It’s also not far from the Ungasan Clifftop Resort if you want to spend more time in South Bali enjoying the views from the top of a cliff.
Address: Uluwatu, Pantai Suluban, Jl. Labuansait, Pecatu, Kec. Kuta Sel., Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia
Online: Single Fin
The Lawn
The Lawn is one of the smaller beach clubs in Bali. You’ll enjoy the pool area and the ocean view is stunning once you’re inside on the day beds.
But it pays to get there early if you don’t want to be stuck watching the day beds from afar at the bar.
The drinks aren’t the most generous pours and if you’re looking to max out on cocktails, this might not be the club that you’re looking for.
Address: Jl. Pura Dalem, Canggu, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia
Online: The Lawn
Minoo Beach Club
Minoo is another cool smaller beach club in Bali this time with an emphasis on cheesy techno, so if that’s not your thing, you might want to skip it.
If you do like that kind of vibe, you will find the views over the Indian Ocean at this part of Melasti Beach are spectacular. However, the food and drink are quite expensive and you can run up quite a bill while sitting on their day beds.
Address: Pantai Melasti Jl. Pengayutan, Ungasan, South Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali 80361, Indonesia
Online: Minoo
Le Pirate Beach Club
If you head to the Nusa Islands, we can heartily recommend heading to Nusa Ceningan for a day at Le Pirate Beach Club – we should note that it’s an adults-only pool, so it’s not ideal for family days out.
You can’t reserve day beds in advance, so get there early and enjoy a place with no minimum spend and no entrance fee, you simply pay for what you consume.
Address: Jalan Nusa Ceningan, Klungkung, Lembongan, Nusa Penida, Klungkung Regency, Bali 82218, Indonesia
Online: Le Pirate
Komune Beach Club
This resort-based beach club is one of the best family-friendly clubs in Bali. It’s on the East Coast though, so it’s a bit of a drive from the main beach towns of the island.
We’d also note that this club can get very crowded at the busiest parts of the day and this can lead to hotel guests getting a little annoyed with the day pass holders.
Address: Pantai Keramas St, Medahan, Blahbatuh, Gianyar Regency, Bali 80361, Indonesia
Online: Komune
Palmilla Beach Club
The music’s a bit of the loud side at this club but the views are excellent and it’s a great place for expanding your Instagram feed with great photos.
We like the hammocks they set up on the beach.
Address: Palmilla Beach Club, Ungasan, South Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali, Indonesia
Online: Facebook
Cafe Del Mar
It’s definitely not at the same standard as their Ibiza offering but Café del Mar Bali is still nice enough. The biggest downside is that there’s no beach access – a river blocks your path from the pool to the sand.
Address: Cafe del Mar, Jl. Subak Sari, Canggu, Tibubeneng, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia
Online: Cafe Del Mar
Karma Beach Club
Karma Beach is a part of Melasti Beach and this club is attached to a pleasant resort and offers lovely ocean views.
Just be warned there’s a lot of construction going on around this area and you may have to put up with the sounds of building while you chill here.
Address: Karma Kandara Bali, Jalan Villa Kandara, Selatan Ungasan, Kuta Selatan, Ungasan, Kec. Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80362, Indonesia
Online: Karma Kandara
Ku De Ta
If you’re in Seminyak, Ku De Ta is Bali’s oldest beach club and it’s still very popular today. The view from the top floor is stunning and one of the best in Bali.
However, the DJ’s here often crank up the volume to the point where sitting in the rest of the club means you can’t hear yourself think. This may or may not be a good thing depending on your mood.
Address: Jl. Kayu Aya No.9, Seminyak, Kec. Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali, Indonesia
Online: Ku De Ta
Luna Beach Club
Luna is a huge new property which is a bit of a drive from most of the island. On our visit, we were impressed by the Instagram-worthiness of the place, but we’re not sure we’d make the trip on a regular basis.
Address: Luna Beach Club and Utopia Cave Club, Jl. Kayangan, Beraban, Kec. Kediri, Kabupaten Tabanan, Bali 82121, Indonesia
Online: Luna
Tropical Temptation Beach Club
Tropical Temptation Beach Club has absolutely lovely pools and the food is excellent. However, the downside of this venue is that it’s outrageously expensive.
We’re not sure that everyone will feel that it’s worth the cost.
Address: Melasti Beach 88, Ungasan, Kec. Kuta Sel., Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia
Online: TTBeachClub
Sundays Beach Club
There’s no doubt that taking an escalator down the cliff makes you feel like you’re heading to one of the best beach clubs in Bali.
However, we found that though the view is nice and the design of this place is attractive, there’s too much emphasis on extracting money from guests to be comfortable here for more than an hour or two.
Address: Sundays Beach Club, Jl. Pantai Sel. Gau Banjar Wijaya Kusuma, Ungasan, Kec. Kuta Sel., Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80362, Indonesia
Online: Sundays
Sandy Bay Beach Club
This charming beach club is one of the best beach clubs in Nusa Penida, a small island off the coast of the mainland.
We found that the service was very good and the food was wonderful. The only downside is that no matter how many people pack into this place – you can’t get sunset views over the Indian Ocean here because it’s facing in the wrong direction.
Address: Jl. Sandy Bay, Lembongan, Kec. Nusa Penida, Kabupaten Klungkung, Bali 80771, Indonesia
Online: Sandy Bay
Azul Beach Club
This place in Legian is one of the most interestingly designed bamboo beach clubs in Bali. You will certainly want to grab a couple of selfies before you go inside.
Azul Beach Club is best known for its Tiki Bar, the only one of its kind in Bali, and the cocktails are very good.
However, we found that the food wasn’t quite as good as the drinks and that the most interesting part of the club was inside rather than out by the pool.
Address: Azul Beach Club, Jl. Padma No.2, Legian, Kec. Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia
Online: Azul
COMO Beach Club
COMO has a high minimum spend but that won’t surprise too many people given that this is a 5-star resort with a club as part of it.
We like their breakfast buffet and the live music at night, but we did find that during the day this place was a bit overrun by children having the time of their lives.
Address: Jl. Pantai Batu Mejan, Canggu, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia
Online: COMO
Suka Sunset Beach Club
This is a new arrival on the Seminyak scene and we think it’s destined to become one of the best beach clubs in Bali over time, though it’s a little quiet for now.
The infinity pool has an amazing view over the ocean and sunsets here are a pleasure to watch unfold. They make a good cocktail too.
Address: Jl. Camplung Tanduk No.99, Seminyak, Kec. Kuta, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361
Online: Suka Sunset Beach
Cocoon Beach Club
This family-friendly destination always has lots of little ones scampering around and in out of the pool, in fact, we felt that Cocoon was more of a pool club than a beach club overall.
However, if you want a day out with your kids and you want some awesome food, you won’t be quibbling, Cocoon will ensure that you have a great time.
Address: Pantai Double Six, Jl. Arjuna No.66, Seminyak, Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali 80361
Online: Cocoon
Warung Pantai
With no minimum spend, no entrance fee and nothing complicated at all and no pool to speak of, Warung Pantai excels at being a cheap and basic beach club.
It’s a place to stop for a cold beer as the sun goes down rather than to spend a whole day at, but if you’re on a tight budget, it’s a godsend when you consider how much some of the other best beach clubs on the island cost.
Address: Jl. Batu Belig No.37, Kerobokan Kelod, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia
Online: Instagram
Mano Beach House
Mano Beach House looks awesome but we found that it was expensive and while we don’t mind a minimum spend to reserve a spot under the palm trees, we didn’t feel that this was the best value for money.
However, if you want a small and intimate setting where you can read a book by the pool, this is the place to go.
Address: Jl. Pantai Pura Petitenget Kerobokan Kelod, Seminyak, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali
Online: Mano Beach House
Magus Warung
This cute local beach club in Ungasan is one of our favourites as it’s much better value for this part of the island than most of the other beach clubs in the area.
It’s charming and while it’s not the most polished experience that we’ve ever had we always enjoy spending some time by the Indian Ocean in this place.
Address: Pantai Melasti, Ungasan, Kec. Kuta Sel., Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80364, Indonesia
Online: Instagram
White Rock Beach Club
With an attractive oceanfront infinity pool, White Rock has a wonderful view of the South Coast of Bali (though that does mean the sunset isn’t as good as it is in West Bali).
However, while all the basics are in place at this club, we found the service level to be a bit disjointed and would like to feel that they were providing more for our minimum spend.
Address: Pantai Melasti, Ungasan, South Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali 80361, Indonesia
Online: White Rock
Flamingo Beach Club
This may be the best beach club in Bali for little children and they’ve built this place around floating bean bags, an awesome child-friendly pool and a totally relaxed and fun attitude.
It’s definitely not the place to go for a party, but if you’re trying to fax your family vacation time together, this could be the place for you.
Address: Jl. Pantai Saba, Saba, Kec. Blahbatuh, Kabupaten Gianyar, Bali 80581, Indonesia
Online: Flamingo
Canna Bali
This Nusa Dua-based beach club has no entrance fee and a reasonable minimum spend requirement and offers direct access to the sand.
This is a day club, though, so don’t expect to stay after the sun goes down, you’ll have to move on somewhere else for a few more drinks or for a late dinner.
Address: Jl. Raya Nusa Dua Selatan, Benoa, Kec. Kuta Sel., Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80363, Indonesia
Online: Canna Bali
Reef Beach Club
The Apurva Kempinski may be the swankiest hotel in Bali and given this island has more $1,000+ a night hotel rooms than any other destination on Earth, that’s saying something.
Reef is the hotel beach club and it’s surprisingly affordable given the location. We like it for a chilled family-friendly destination, but get there early or risk missing out on a seat.
Address: Jl. Raya Nusa Dua Selatan, Sawangan, Nusa Dua, Kec. Kuta Sel., Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia
Online: Apurva Kempinski
Atlas Beach Club
Atlas claims to be the largest beach club in Bali and they’ve certainly invested in this beach club, however, it never seems to be full and that can lead to it feeling quite empty given the scale of the place.
It has the most expensive nasi goreng in Bali and the club often sees international artists on the stage there. YG Marley is a recent example of this.
Address: Atlas Beach Fest, Jl. Pantai Berawa No.88, Tibubeneng, Kec. Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Bali 80361, Indonesia
Online: Atlas
Sundara Beach Club
This is a hotel beach club in the upmarket Four Seasons Resort in Jimbaran. If you want an infinity pool with a spectacular level of service and don’t mind paying for it, Sundara is a good choice.
Address: Sundara Beach Club, Bay, Jimbaran, South Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali 80361, Indonesia
Online: Four Seasons
FAQs
What Is The Largest Beach Club In Bali?
The biggest beach club in Bali is probably Atlas Beach Fest (this is Atlas Beach Club and Atlas Super Club when taken together) at least that’s what their marketing claims.
We should note that there are several other beach clubs that are more popular on the beach club scene than Atlas and we’ve heard that Potato Head Beach Club may actually be bigger depending on how you measure things.
When Should I Go To FINNS Beach Club Bali?
FINNS is the most iconic beach club in Bali and of all of Bali’s beach clubs, it’s the one where it’s most important to book in advance.
That means you can choose when you go to the best beach club on the island as long as you book early enough.
We recommend checking out the swim-up bars in their infinity pool around sunset and enjoying some sunset cocktails in absolute style.
If you come to Canggu, FINNS Beach Club is the place to go and we think it’s the best of Bali’s best beach clubs overall – if you can only visit one beach club, make it FINNS, it will be worth travelling for.
Are Beach Clubs In Bali Worth It?
Defining “worth it” is difficult because not everyone’s idea of value is the same.
However, we find the minimum spend at most beach clubs in Bali to be reasonable and the chance to listen to top DJS, eat and drink in style and enjoy an infinity pool with amazing views of the Indian Ocean is something we wouldn’t want to pass up.
Which Area Has The Best Nightlife?
We would say Canggu is the area with the best nightlife in Bali at the moment. It’s got something for absolutely everybody from cheap warungs to the world’s best beach club to pubs, bars, restaurants and clubs galore.
There are other parts of Bali where you can party until dawn but we find them much more limiting than Canggu.
What Is The Number One Beach In Bali?
The most popular beach in Bali is probably the beach in Nusa Dua. This beach is the kind of beach people dream of when they’re told about a paradise island – soft warm white sand and turquoise water.
However, it’s not the best place for your first beach club experience, that’s because it’s really a resort destination for families. The beaches are dominated by big brand name 5-star resorts rather than clubs.
Final Thoughts On The Best Beach Clubs, Bali
If you love beach clubs, then Bali has you covered. From family-friendly beach clubs such as Roosterfish and Flamingo to places to party all night long like FINNS to relaxing chilled-out venues like Potato Head, there’s something for everyone.
Whether you’re staying near Petitenget Beach, Seminyak Beach, Berawa Beach, Echo Beach, Kelan Beach or any other beach, there should be a great spot beneath the swaying palm trees to enjoy cocktails and admire the Bali sunset in style.
