So, if you want to party in Bali, even if you’re not into sunbathing, you’ll want to head down to FINNS just before sunset, grab a seat and order up a few beers or cocktails.

You can enjoy the incredible entertainment and then hit the dance floor in Monsoon party restaurant to finish your evening.

If you search for Indonesia online, one of the first things you will learn about is FINNS, nearly 15% of all visitors to Bali come to FINNS, and you owe it to yourself to find out why.

A great place to meet new friends on a night out in Canggu is 707 Beachberm which must be one of the most relaxed beach bars that we’ve ever encountered.

The best time to go is before sunset, get yourself a comfy bean bag on the sand, order up some icy cold drinks and then settle in to watch the sunset.

The food at this spot is not bad, either. If you like “surfer-style grub” then you’re going to find that this spot satisfies your hunger without breaking the bank.

Oh, and we should mention that the drinks are pretty cheap drinks for Bali and the happy hour makes things cheaper still.

Canggu Nightlife Scene – A Quick Guide to All You Need to Know

Where to Party in Canggu?

As you might expect in a beach town like Canggu, the best Canggu nightlife is located very near the beaches. So, it’s often best to stay near the beaches and then everything is within walking distance at the end of the night.

It’s also a great way to get access to the beach clubs and beach bars in the area at any time of day. But don’t worry, if you’re staying a bit further away – you don’t have to miss out on a Saturday night out or ladies’ night, you can easily get a Grab or Gojek to bring you to the action.

So, look out for the best places to party in Canggu when you plan your holiday. They are Berawa Beach, Batu Bolong Beach and Echo Beach.

You won’t have any problem finding a dance floor and the music you love from hip-hop to house music to techno music, it’s all here in Canggu.

How to Stay Safe in Canggu at Night

Before you head out on the town of Canggu, it’s helpful to know the following:

  • You ought to be 21 – the legal drinking age in Indonesia is 21. You may be asked for ID when you order drinks or sign up to play beer pong in a bar. So, make sure to carry some (we’d go with a passport copy on your phone rather than carrying the real thing).
  • You shouldn’t drink and drive – drinking and driving is an even worse idea in Bali than it is at home. You will be held criminally liable for any damage you cause while drunk and the terrible roads and low driving standards on the island, make an accident much more likely than at home.
  • You should use Grab or Gojek – the ride-sharing apps will be happy to take you from a pizza restaurant to a party in Bali and they will do it for less money than a taxi will. It’s safer to take a car than it is to use a scooter.
  • You should wear a helmet on a scooter – not only will this keep your brain inside your head where it belongs, but it will stop you from being stopped and fined by the police too.
  • You should keep your possessions physically close – there’s not much crime in Bali, but there is some petty crime and bag snatching is a crime of opportunity. Keep your bag close up against your body and on the side of your body away from the street. Then, there’s no opportunity.

What’s it Going to Cost to Party in Canggu?

It’s fair to say that you’re going to find reasonably priced drinks in Canggu but not the cheapest alcohol in the world.

If you’re going bar hopping, you may want to warm up with a few beers at the local minimart which will cost about $2 (USD) or $3 (AUD) each. Whereas if you’re in a club with the cream of local and international DJs playing, you may pay $7-$9 for a beer.

Cocktails are a bit more expensive and $10-$12 is about right. However, don’t forget that the secret to enjoying Bali nightlife is to check for happy hours before you go out and time your late-night stops with happy hour to get buy one get one free deals on cocktails.
